You keep what you watch. A lower plan only stops new monitors, companies, or domains past that limit. Cancel in the app and the paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then the account moves to Free.
If your plan includes OnyxGuard Black Label, up to 8 urgent texts a month can still go out after your monthly text allowance and prepaid balance are used up. That reserve sits on top of the allowance. The usual limit is 3 an hour and 10 a day. Urgent email always goes.
